HI!

Heyyyy! This is Daughter Judy at your service!
So I'm at my mom's work doing the first "job" that my mom assigned me to do, which is to be the guest blogger, even though I have no clue at all of what to say....... um .........

I know that I really want my mom to take down that really unattractive picture of me that is posted in her cubicle. It looks like I'm crazy or something, and it gives the people at her work the wrong image.

I have met all the people at my mom's work. They are nice. I like Golden, she's kewl. And I forget this one guy's name but he likes ANTM and Project Runway, so we had a little chat. But that's really it. I might post in later but I doubt it!!!!! TEE HEE!!!!!

  1. Hey, it's Take Your Children to Work here at PBGC too! We're having a good-bye party for someone later today, so the three visiting kids (Savannah, Sydney, and Jeremy) will get to eat my famous Chocolate Chip Pound cake

Chocolate Chip Pound Cake (from a Cuisinart cookbook)

8 ounces cream cheese at room temp, cut into 1-inch dice [not low fat]
2 sticks unsalted butter at room temp, cut into 8 pieces
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    4 large eggs
2 T sour cream (not low fat)
    2 t vanilla
    2 1/4 cups cake flour
    2 t baking powder
    1/4 t salt (I omit)
    1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (I use Ghirardelli's bittersweet)
    Confectioners sugar

Preheat oven to 325. Butter and flour a 10-cup tube pan.

Pulse the cream cheese, butter, and sugar with steel blade 3 times, then process until smooth, about 30 seconds. With the motor running, add the
eggs through the feed tube and process for 40 seconds. Add the sour cream and vanilla and process 10 seconds. Add the flour, baking powder,
salt (if used), and chocolate chips, and pulse just until the flour is incorporated, 8 to
    10 times.

Spoon batter into prepared pan. Bake in center of preheated oven until a cake tester comes out clean, about 1 hour (usually takes closer to 1
    1/4 hours for me.)

Remove cake, and cool on wire rack for 10 minutes.
Remove from pan and cool completely.
    Dust with confectioners sugar.
